Set up inst8 for HighLevel

Native 2-way SMS inside HighLevel sub-accounts. The integration ships in the HighLevel Marketplace and authorises via OAuth.

Step-by-step

    Find inst8 in the HighLevel Marketplace

    From HighLevel, open the Marketplace and search for ‘Inst8 SMS’.

    Install the app

    Review the permissions and click Install.

  3. 3

    Choose scope

    Install agency-wide (for resellers running multiple sub-accounts) or into a single sub-account.

    Authorise the connection

    You'll be sent to the inst8 SMS Gateway to authorise. Sign in if you're not already.

    Pick device & SIM

    Choose which Android device and SIM card to bind to this HighLevel account.

  6. 6

    Set inst8 as the SMS provider

    In HighLevel Settings, set inst8 as the SMS provider for the sub-account.

  7. 7

    Send a test

    Send a test message to your own number to verify everything is wired up.

Troubleshooting

Integration disconnected
Check the Gateway app is online. Re-authorise OAuth from the inst8 integration page in HighLevel.
Messages not arriving
Confirm the bound device is online. Check the SIM has credit. Check the recipient number includes a country code.
